Well as the title says I have two finishes to share today, the first is a free kit I've been working on in my lunch break at work. It's taken a while but I got there in the end. I'd planned to make it up into a card and give it to my sister in law, but I've missed her birthday. I've actually grown quite attached to it so I think I'll make it into a coaster to use at work, shame for something so pretty to be stuck in a drawer.
Secondly I'd like to share the finished Monsters!
I'm going to back it with interfacing and mount it on some card so he can use it as a door sign.
Now I will go back to a blackwork embroidery design I've been stitching for mum. Will post an update soon!
Sincerely Susan

My favourite finish to date.
Starting a blog has been on my to-do list for a while and here we are, second post! I'm going to use this blog to keep track of my crafting progress and give me a little nudge when I'm feeling lazy. I'd like it to follow me when I try out new things, whether they be crafts, experiences or places. Finally I hope to make lots of new friends as I journey through blog-land!
Not much stitching has been done in the last day or so. I'm really hoping to get the Monsters done this weekend, then they'll only be a week late - the story of my crafting!
In a Twinkling, a cross stitch project I finished in May 2011 or so was actually supposed to be completed in 2009, and there we have it, the reason for the blog!

Welcome!
Welcome to the first post of my blogging journey! I am counting down, it's three weeks until I have a week off and I can sit and stitch all day. I can't wait!
Here's one of my current WIPs, a door sign for my nephew using the monster alphabet from WOXS 189. To be honest it's turned into a bit of a chore, most likely as it should have been done by his birthday which was yesterday... Ooops! Hoping to get it done by tomorrow so we'll see.
